Fifteen Year Anniversary

November marks fifteen years at The Preservation Framer. We are blessed to have such an amazing, supportive community in North Attleboro. Our customers are truly wonderful and we are grateful. Thank you to the many, many great customers like yourself!

We will host an art reception and celebration on November 17th from 7PM-9PM including twelve artists, live music and refreshments. Help us celebrate 15 YEARS!!

Below are the Major renovations the The Preservation Framer undertook to create the current, beautiful retail and gallery space. The dilapidated conditions of the old North Attleboro Free Press and Sharon Credit Union were finally made into modern / historic functioning retail spaces. All of this in the heart of Downtown North Attleboro. It’s wonderful to finally see the downtown come to life with many amazing small businesses as our neighbors. We are excited to be a part of this growth and revitalization.

In the summer of 2018 we made a move that was both ambitious and risky. We began renovating 29-31 North Washington Street while simultaneously paying rent in our first store location and, also, our warehouse. That’s four rents! Yikes. But we dream BIG! We designed and renovated the new / current store location by ourselves and on our dime. With plans from architects Annino Associates we knocked down the wall between the two storefronts opening the space and joining the two sides. We did it! You can see some of the renovation pictures above. Below are some of the pictures revealing the beautiful interior and the wonderful people that help make The Preservation Framer the best that it can be.

The Preservation Framer was initially conceived by Owner Matt Slobogan. For the first nine years the company was run in collaboration with Rob Dziubek, and received financial guidance from silent partner Erik Bristow. Matt’s vision aimed to fill a gap in the framing industry by prioritizing quality, innovative design, and exceptional customer service. After a successful decade in business, the partnership dissolved. Matt lead the rebranding of the company and the renovation and relocation to its current venue. Since these changes, The Preservation Framer has continued to thrive.

Matt's background in leadership within the framing industry allowed him to identify the importance of customer-centric service and the creation of unique, artistic pieces tailored to individual needs. In addition to custom framing services, The Preservation Framer also houses The Churchwood Gallery, established in 2018, and offers customers a selection of homemade gifts crafted by talented artisans. This combination of quality framing, artistic expression, and artisanal offerings has contributed to the ongoing success of The Preservation Framer.

Below are some of the many photos taken from 2008-2017 from our first location at 16 North Washington St.
